In accordance with Linnaeus University's strategic goals for global values and with the aim to increase the international doctoral student mobility, strategic funds are allocated to provide the opportunity for doctoral student mobility.
As Lnu already offers funds for mobility within the framework of the Erasmus+-programme (mainly EU), the Lnu Mobility funds are intended for a stay abroad outside of EU (click here for a list of Erasmus-entitled programme countries).
Gain experience of working in international environments and develop international research networks. Apply for Lnu mobility funds for a longer stay abroad (from 2 weeks to 8 weeks) at a host institution outside of EU/Erasmus.
With the aim to internationalise at home and make it possible for a research group to establish contacts with presumptive postdoctoral fellows. Therefore, these funds can also go towards inviting a doctoral student from abroad.
For both incoming and outgoing fellows, a minimum stay of 2 weeks and up to 8 weeks will be financed. The funding contributes to extra costs for the abroad visit, such as travel, accommodation and daily allowances. 2 weeks = 25 000 SEK, thereafter 5 000 SEK per week up to a maximum amount of 55 000 SEK for 8 weeks.
Next application round will open on October 1st, 2019 for mobility January to August 2020. The applicaton will close on October 31st, 2019.
