Forming a Japan Network at Linnaeus University – first meeting January 22
Many scholars at Linnaeus University are involved in teaching, research and other forms of collaboration with and about Japan. Or would be interested in participating in such activities. The problem is that we don’t know about each other, and thus we can’t share our insights, ideas and contacts. So, I have taken the initiative to form an interdisciplinary Japan Network at Linnaeus University.
Our first meeting will be January 22, at 12-14 (bring your own lunch), in Växjö. It will be a very informal meeting where we introduce ourselves and how we are interested in Japan, and then we discuss the potential of a Japan Network. Notably, you don’t need to have prior experience of collaboration with Japan, just be curious enough to attend the first meeting.
If you want to come, then send an e-mail to tomas.nilsson_AT_lnu.se. I will come back with information about the room for the meeting (when I know how many we will be).
