Are you interested in teaching and research collaboration in East Africa?

Here is a possibility if you are planning to initiate or expand collaboration in teaching and research with higher education institutes in East Africa.

Senior Lecturer Jonas Ewald, Department of Social Studies, will discuss why it is important to collaborate with Africa in general and East Africa in particular, sharing practical experience from working with research and teaching in Africa for 25 years. 

The seminar will provide an overview of the political situation, challenges and the role and development of higher education in East Africa. Focus will be on Kenya and Tanzania.

The seminar is part of the process to start up an Africa network for staff that are already working on or planning to work on Africa-related issues.

In February 2018, the office of external relations organises a university wide faculty trip to Kenya and Tanzania.
